Every nonprofit should create a signature event as grand as Art Bra Austin.
Benefiting the Breast Cancer Resource Center, the annual parade and auction of especially designed undergarments, modeled by breast cancer survivors and BCRC clients, has it all. It’s entertaining. It’s serious. And it puts the dauntless beneficiaries front and center.
The nearly sold-out Art Bra event — 800 seats — is coming June 4 at the Palmer Events Center.
At a preview reception in the dreamy blue lobby of the Blanton Museum of Art, we talked to designers, models, center employees and their media emissaries.
Alas, I will be out of town on June 4, but if you plan to go, you won’t be let down.
